«We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door, ...

«Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at ...

«I had an emergency and was only able to stay one night, but enjoyed my stay »

«House was lovely and very comfortable. The ammenities in house were plentiful and up to date. We were able to make dinner and find all that we needed to do so and we we able to relax comfortably and sleep well. Host was easy to reach and responsive. House was roomier and nicer than it appeared in the photos»

«House was super clean, coffee was a nice surprise. Comfy beds, quiet street. Super close to the Big E. Thanks Rose!»

«This apartment was wonderful - clean, well stocked, and cute. Aside from the proximity to the train tracks (although earplugs were thoughtfully provided), the location was great - close to the highway and more importantly Dairy Queen.»

«This was a great weekend away in CT! The house was comfortable and clean. Very cozy setup and good communication with the host. The weather wasn’t amazing but we still enjoyed our stay for the weekend.»

«Fantastic host. Went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Beautiful historic home that felt very welcoming and cozy even though it is so big!»

«Great place! »

«Definitely a great place to stay! We all were comfortable and enjoyed our time. We will definitely stay there again for future trips. Everything was very clean. Lots of towels. Extra blankets and pillows. And there were plenty of things to be able to cook to avoid eating out. Super pleased!»

«This VRBO has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Connecticut. The view and relaxing patio overlook paddlers on the Farmington River. The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. This was my second stay here and I would not ...
