«We loved our stay at this property! Super relaxing and had everything we needed. Kayaking and spending time on the lake was the best part. It made being an hour from Acadia and Bar Harbor more than worth it. Shasta was a great host and extremely accommodating. I will definitely be back!»

«Myself and six other friends stayed here for two nights and had such a blast. The weather was intense our first night, but we stayed warm and cozy in the dome. The sunrise the next day and stars were incredible! Great communication with host and really beautiful property, looking forward to coming back!»

«We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. «What a wonderful spot of peace and tranquility! The cabin has absolutely everything we needed and the owners were fantastic to work with. We ate lobster on the deck that we grabbed from a local spot, grilled, paddled around the lake, saw soooo many stars and were still close enough to spend time in Acadia, Schoodic and in Bar Harbor! This place can’t be beat and really one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed at!»

«It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.»

«The cabin was exactly as described. The host was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful with questions about the area and things to do. Firewood was stocked, and later restocked when we ran out. The lake access was perfect. The kayak and canoe onsite was so convenient. The owls literally serenaded us to sleep. We would absolutely come back again!»

«Overall the A-Frame was beautiful and I would stay again! A few things I wish I knew before booking or were more clear at time of booking: 1. there are 0 curtains on the windows or doors, and there are adjacent homes on either side. «This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping.
