«DO NOT STAY HERE!! i was bitten and scratched by the dog here. It waited outside the room. Sleeps on the chair outside. It blocks the top so you can't get down the dangerous stairs. It goes for your legs/feet because it wants attention. We was badly over charged for rice for dinner. No wifi. No AC. 20 power cuts. We only had electricity for 2hours on and off out of the 12hours we was there. We couldn't wait to leave. The owner/family hardly speak english when we said how unhappy/upset we was ...

Dream Cliff Mountain Resort

8/10 Bra

"We had a wonderful stay at Dream Cliff Mountain Resort. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking views, and the entire property is beautifully designed and well maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The only thing that detracted somewhat from our experience was the atmosphere. We had chosen Dream Cliff as a peaceful retreat during our travels around Sri Lanka, but there were quite a few families with young children, resulting in considerable noise around the pool and restaurant. At a hotel of this style and standard, we had expected a somewhat calmer atmosphere. We would also suggest reconsidering the music in the restaurant. The relaxed lounge music during the day suited the surroundings perfectly, while the louder, upbeat pop music around dinner felt less appropriate for such a tranquil setting. Finally, the many TV screens in the restaurant seemed unnecessary and, in our view, detracted from the otherwise elegant and upscale atmosphere. Overall, Dream Cliff is a beautiful and special place, with wonderful staff, spectacular surroundings and an unforgettable view."
