«Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds. «We booked the accommodation for an Australian guest as it was close to Auckland Showgrounds. However upon his arrival at the Motel he was offered a room that was substantially below normal standards and was greeted by a number of cockroaches upon opening the door. Needless to say that alternative accommodation was found elsewhere even though 5 nights had been prepaid which apparently is non-refundable. Certainly wouldn't recommend staying here.»
