«We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the property itself is beautiful. Such a unique idea with the late check in and late check out. It made it an easy transition from arriving mid afternoon from Kyoto and transitioning to our ryokan after the afternoon check out. Drinks were well made and the public bath was so welcome at the end of a long day exploring the Hakone area. The complementary snacks and drinks in the room was also a nice touch. We arrived early ...

«Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home.»

«Et hotell som er blitt renovert i nyere tid. Fantastisk hage, svømmebasseng og spa. Kan virkelig anbefale en tur i spa avdelingen. Her er også en egen royakan som kan benyttes. Svært store rom, med god kvalitet på senger, dyner og klær. Litt for formell frokost etter min smak da det ikke er buffé, men maten er god!»

«We loved our stay! The room was quiet and comfortable. We loved the public baths and breakfast (we didn't have dinner with our room). The staff was very welcoming. There's also a shuttle from the hotel down to the bus stop in Motohakone or it's an easy 15 min walk. »

«Very nice property. The home is very clean and rather spacious. Very close to nearby public transport which makes it very easy to get around. Location is rather walkable as well to other restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyable more immersive experience to the neighborhood. There's a great little coffee house literally seconds away. Lovely amenities in the home. Personally loved the shower and large bathtub. The beds were good, but were very loud and creeky even with subtle movements. Since there ...

«Nyt, lækkert og smagfuldt. »

«We followed all check-in instructions exactly as provided, but had no response from the host during the check-in process — nobody answered when we tried to reach them. Note that there are no nearby places/amenities, and you will need a car to get to this property. There was no communication from the host during our stay or at check-out either. The first we heard of any issue was after checkout, when the host raised a damage claim for something that appears to have pre-dated our stay, with no ...

«Very nice and well equipped family room, great place for family with car»

«Western-style comfort combined with Japanese hospitality—a great choice for international visitors as well. We’re Japanese and stayed here while attending an event in the area. I appreciate the thoughtful and elaborate hospitality that traditional Japanese ryokans are known for, and take pride in it as part of Japanese culture. At times, though, it can feel a little overwhelming. This hotel strikes just the right balance. Everything is clean, the staff are kind, and the hospitality is warm and ...
