«After booking l found alot of negative reviews, happily it wasn't too bad. the island accommodation all seems to be in need of some TLC. I chooser this place as it had water views in case the weather wasn't good while we were there and we;d have something to look at. The windows we disgusting and it was difficult to see out, the second reason was it had a BBQ- however there was no BBQ and you couldn't use the oven it hadn't been cleaned for sometime and obviously because there was no BBQ it had ...

«This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly.»

«Property was in a great location. Island beach is so beautiful. Very well equipped and the slow cooker was a bonus. Overall nice and clean, although there were empty bottles and cans all over the fish cleaning sink which we couldnt use. This was cleaned up however at the end of our trip. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but clean and warm. Had some visits by local kangaroos, wallabies and the beautiful birds on KI and also some local chooks! A bit of a hick up when we arrived to locked doors ...

«2 couples for 4 nights- we Loved the spaciousness & location of this home. Linen & beds could be updated. We were shocked to discover we had accidentally almost caused a fire in the appliance cupboard (damage) and Dwayne was wonderful & understanding about the whole matter.»

«Probably best location on the island, the house was surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies, we enjoyed them every night coming close to the house. «We stayed 3 nights at Fairview Beach House. Great view. Short walk to the water. Sleeps up to 11, great for a family get away. Could do with a good garden tidy up, front and back. View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day.»

«We stayed here with our family of five. The house had everything we needed and was was located on a quiet street. We particularly loved that we could just walk over the sand dune at the back of the house and we had a piece of the beach which was so private and protected. The kids and dog loved running in and out of the shallow water and trying to find crabs hiding under the rocks.»
