i have never seen so deep blue water and deep blue sky like in Maldivian islands which is close to equator. Incredible colors without filters! Did you know that some dhoni Captains and crews still do not use compass or GPS to navigate through the islands and atolls. They find their ways throughout the coral labyrinths helping themselves with the bow of their dhonis and the stars. During clear nights, some have the rare ability to carefully observe the moves of the lagoon surface to avoid coral reefs. #maldives #parkhyatt #hadahaa #blue
I have never seen this type of clouds before - in was looking like sun rays in the the sky raising from from the ocean. Maldivian locals told me that this ray clouds visible only near the equator - I don't how equator affects but looks amazing! Did you know that Maldives are likely to be the reminiscence of a chain of sunken volcanoes formed around 60 millions of years ago. Recent studies suppose that coral reefs atolls have formed over hundreds of thousands of years on their sinking remains. #maldives #parkhyatt #hadahaa #blue

After staying at multiple high end resorts, we went in believing this would be the best Maldives resort. Food was very average for excessive prices. The reef was good, but there are better. All in all, for the price, wished it was perfect and it really was average at this price point.
