«Beautiful cabins in relaxing gardens. Friendly staff with fantastic inhouse food. Walking distance to main road but set back and feels nice and remote.»

«The staff at the location were very nice and friendly. The cabins were comfortable and had nice air conditioning, though lots of gaps for mosquitos and other bugs to enter. The term “resort” implies high end accommodations and I would not describe this location as that. This is more like camping in town. "Heritance Kandalama is a beautiful and unique hotel with a fantastic location, impressive architecture, and several lovely swimming pools. The hotel feels luxurious, and the surroundings make the stay a memorable experience. However, we had booked a room for four people, but when we arrived, there were only beds and towels for three. When we asked for an extra bed for our eight-year-old daughter, the hotel initially wanted to charge us extra. After quite a bit of discussion, they eventually provided the bed at no additional cost, but this should have been arranged in advance when the booking was clearly for four people. Overall, it is a very nice and fairly luxurious hotel, but guests should be prepared for many additional charges. We enjoyed our stay, but the service regarding the room setup could have been better."
