«I love it here. It’s truly an oasis just a short journey outside the city. The soaker tubs are dreamy, the view amazing, the food consistently good, and the staff helpful and friendly. I stay here whenever I can. Highly recommend!»

«Location was everything about the empress. Great food at the hotel and near with walkable access to the heart of Victoria. Highly recommend renting a car as a lot of cool castles and beaches are close drives away. The garden was fantastic and live music and salmon at the hotel restaurant was great .»

«The guy on reception was very helpful and allowed us to move rooms as the first one was very dark and had a strange aroma. Our second room was lighter and spacious but sadly the aircon unit tripped the lights and sockets. Breakfast was not the best and only had frozen gluten free bread as a gluten free option.
I can understand why some people like it, but we wouldn’t book again.»

«I stayed one night and had a fabulous stay! The staff was so nice and welcoming, and my room was really spacious and comfy. The hotel is historic and beautiful with lots of flowers outside. Great location for a walking tour of Victoria!»
