«This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. «A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. »

«A great place to stay in Saanichton! The room looked much better than expected for a Motel. We could hear traffic from the nearby highway, but still were able to have a good sleep. The staff were very polite and checked us in fast. There was complimentary coffee and creamer available 24/7. Right across there was Saanichton Bay and a scenic walk & public beach.»

«I ahve stayed at red lion many many times. This was the worst time. The TV was messed up when we were trying to relax in the suite after wandering the city. The front desk attendant helped fix that. The sink was dirty when we got into the room. Toothpaste was still in the sink. The bed and suite were well kept otherwise. The main aggrevation of the trip was at 7:30-8am, the housekeepers were talking and yelling in Korean and laughing in the hallway for hours. We found out when we were leaving ...

«The heater in our room did not work so it was always too cool. The bed was situated right beside the heater so the air was not able to circulate properly and it would shut down after a few minutes. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs, potatoes and meat were often cold or barely warm. »

«Stay is good. Rooms are lovely and with a good view. Restaurants close really early around 7:30 pm, not ideal as there are not much options to eat nearby either. Plus only one restaurant was open and didn’t have a lot of options. Staff is courteous. Property is beautiful, but one of the pools wasn’t open yet. »

«Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!»
