«I loved this cabin in the woods near Metchosin. It was SO quiet, all I heard was the rustling wind through the trees and the birds. At first I had misgivings about it being about 1/2 hour from downtown Victoria, vs. being in the heart of the action. But then I talked to a new acquaintance who did rent a condo in a high-rise, and she commented about the sirens and revving engines and noise. «Beautifully designed c-can unit. Everything was well thought out. Our host supplied coffee, bottled water and canned beverages. Everything needed for the washroom was available. Great hot tub, bar-bq and hammock outside. Games, books, good TV streaming services. Very comfortable bed. Host also supplied a tent and all the gear for one person. Fire pit available but unfortunately there was a fire ban on while we were there. Highly recommend would definitely stay there again.»
