The house is very comfortable. But the best part is the view - it’s not to be missed. We ate every meal, drank our coffee and evening cocktail on the expansive deck. We can’t wait to come back. «This place was nice! There is no bedroom but there is a sofa bed. It was a little uncomfortable but I was still able to go to sleep. The neighborhood was quiet. The host allowed me to extend my stay easily & was available early in the morning when I called. Great place for anyone in town for a couple of days or for work!»

«We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Alder Brook Lodge. The house was spotless, the bedrooms were good size and the home theater/bunk house was perfect for the four grandchildren. The yard offered endless fun, whether playing down by the brook, enjoying the fire pit or just playing yard games. We didn’t even have time to try the hot tub or go on any of the hiking trails. «The grass was about a foot tall. We had to borrow the neighbors lawnmower to cut the grass near the entrance of back porch and driveway. The shower, wasn’t a shower…. It’s a bath tub with a sprayer handle, so you have to lay down in the bath tub so water wouldn’t go everywhere. At least a wrap around shower curtain should be there.»
