«The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, personable and helpful. I enjoyed the hot breakfast, there were a lot of options. The hotel is in a great central location between the beach and parks, plenty of restaurants and shopping.»

«This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Welcoming staff, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub; and my favorites, waffles and all day coffee!!! Brought the dog this time, he loved it too. Pet friendly but you’d never know there was a dog there before you. Very clean. Every member of the staff spoke to or greeted us every time we saw them. Very professional. We’ll be back again, hopefully soon.»

«Had to wait 2 1/2 hours to check in as room was not ready. Front desk would not let me talk to manager. She was very rude and kept telling me to keep checking back. Had to stand in a long line 4 times. I asked if she could text me when it was ready so I could go get something to eat, and she said no, I would just have to take a seat in lobby. When I finally got to the room , the toilet handle was broken and the fridge did not work. I was told that if I wanted to switch rooms, it would be a down ...

«The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us»

«Excellent budget travel or vacation option! The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. Everything in the room functioned properly. The hotel is quietly situated away from town. There are several options close to the hotel for basic supplies. The location is good in that everything, the town or nearby islands, are all about 15 to 20 minutes away. The perfect quiet, stress-free pivot point for everything in the area.»

«The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty.»

«Took three chances to finally get us in a double queen room that was actually cleaned. First was a single king then a double queen that had not been cleaned. Asked for a credit card for incidentals and charged the full room amount after I already paid thru Expedia. Have a ridiculous $15 per night fee for parking. Hotel needs some TLC and some updating.»
