«The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.»

«Great location in Braithwaite and well appointed cottage with nice, shiny bath (welcome after a day on the fells) and lots of useful equipment for home cooking - would have been great to have had a few more baking trays to put multiple roasting items in the oven but the air fryer worked really well, so maybe not needed for most people.
