«We had a wonderful stay at this terrific house. Cahner was a fabulous host and made our stay very enjoyable. We stayed here as a family for our daughter’s graduation from Creighton, and it was ideal. The location is fantastic - close to everything in Aksarben and nestled in on a very quiet street. The house had everything that we needed and was incredibly charming.»

«The host was GREAT! He responded efficiently, his place is within 10 minutes to alot of things like event places, outings, the grocery store, and more! Great place to stay especially if hosting an event. The checkout process was super easy. I'd recommend to all. I will stay here again.»

«I loved everything about this place! Very clean, amazing amenities decorated very nicely. The only issue is with the neighbors across the street…which the VRBO owner has no control over, but as we arrived and were getting our luggage out of the car they let their 2 pit bulls out in the front yard. One on a very thin leash and the other not on a leash at all. It was a little scary. But during our stay that is the only time we saw them. «We had a family meet up in Omaha. The property was a great fit for our family to stay and play. The layout was wonderful, great backyard space, quiet location, and easy access to everything we wanted to do. «Older home, well maintained on the inside. Location was good. Although current road construction in progress outside the home. Property owner/manager was very responsive. The outside front porch/back entrance could use some TLC. Poor lighting in some areas of the home I missed the part where the second bathroom is in an unfinished basement. «We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is older but it is nicely updated and very clean. I thought the beds were reasonably comfortable as well. The kitchen is modest but perfectly functional. The host was friendly and communicated very well, and the check out process was very streamlined. The only minor downside is that you and really only fit one car in the driveway, if you come with a group. Overall it was a very nice stay!»

«We were in Omaha for a family wedding. This property was perfect for our entire family. It was very spacious and we utilized the deck and the back yard. The kids had plenty of room to move around and play. There were plenty of bathrooms which made it nice when we were all getting ready to go to the wedding. Cheri was a great host and was very quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again.»

«Our family enjoyed this home right on the water. Perfect for young families. Lots of toys, games, and kids activities on the property. The paddleboat was a big hit with the little kids. «Arrived late from a road trip in, rooms and bathrooms were clean. Roof top gave amazing views. Hate it was so cold but we enjoyed ourselves. «Overall good stay, few small issues, nothing major. It’s an older house like the rest in that area and we are originally from the area so we knew about the type of house and the area. Creaky floors and doors but again, to be expected. Lots of space though, the kids liked the games in the basement, way better than a party of 10 in a hotel. Nice to have furniture on the porch, some friends came over and talked after the kids went to bed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again. ...

«Older home that has been renovated. The only issue was the heat coming in upstairs from the west exposure. I slept in the bedroom on the far east side, and had the ceiling fan and oscillating fan running all night. I’m guessing there is not much insulation in the walls, as the neighbor to the left was playing their boom box a little loud, and, it was as if there was no wall between us.»

«We had two families stay in the house and there was plenty of room. We loved the outdoor space and yard games they had. Walkable distance to a great local restaurant as well. The only complaint we had was that we were not able to control the AC and it got very warm during our stay on the main level.»

«Outside the house fits into the older, regenerating neighborhood. Inside it is beautifully renovated and decorated with a mix of restored original features and new. We found it very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped but not cluttered. The location cannot be beat for the zoo - it’s 1 min drive away! or, I guess, a 10min walk. It’s easy to get to from the freeway and the other direction is a straight shot drive to the Old Market, Durham museum and Charles Schwab field.»

«Had a little bit of a problem finding it at first. Did not expect an apartment above a business. Clean facilities with all needed amenities. Apartment is on a loud and busy road, however, host did supply earplugs. Host very responsive to messages. Just wish futon was located in living room instead of in bedroom with other bed.»

Ok for me but I could never bring my wife!
"Check in went quite smoothly. Courteous staff, but the room furniture (mainly sofa) was disgusting. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were all quite hard. The kitchen sink was not cleaned after the previous renter. Waited until the morning to say anything. Lots of "sorries" for the condition of the room and they did offer to move me to another room but I ended up washing the sink myself. Turned out the drain was plugged and needed to be repaired. The reason for things being so dirty is that roadwork workers have been staying there. The rooms are large with a kitchenette so they are perfect for a longer stay, but there should be rooms dedicated for normal people who don’t bring road construction filth into the room. It was ok this time because I was alone. I’ll be back in a few months but I don’t want my wife to have to deal with this. "
