«We had an unplanned 2-night stop here because the Donner pass was closed. Can't say enough about this place: very clean, a reasonably-priced and tasty breakfast and, to a person, a very cheerful and helpful staff that kept us informed of road conditions, local knowledge and did everything they could to help us make the best of things.»

A Sacramento perfect jewel tucked away in the cuts but close to everything the city has to offer. The location surprised me—in the best way. You’re minutes from shopping, dining, and entertainment, yet the area still feels peaceful and private.
Don’t snooze on this spot. It’s clean, comfortable, and truly a hidden gem for anyone wanting convenience without the chaos. I’d absolutely stay again.»

«What a wonderful hotel! So much charm and character with all the comfort and amenities of a "modern" hotel. Our room in a repurposed 1800s home across the parking lot from the hotel proper was small, but quiet and lovely. The complementary breakfast was delicious, and the the vibe and bluegrass music in the "Saloon" was so fun and lively. Also, Kim, who greeted us at the front desk, is such a helpful, delightful person.»
