«This lovely home is one of the best VRBOs we have enjoyed. It was beautifully appointed, clean, and very cozy. «It was remote with almost no light pollution. You'll seldom see brighter stars. It had everything we needed. Understand that it is remote, even for remote. The host was great to deal with. The housing is exactly as listed...a farmhouse far from the road. It was comfy, it was cozy. It didn't have the frills some would like to see in a stay but it was perfect for my wife and me. You wont find as much for so little anywhere near Caprock.»

«My stay was spectacular. 1000/10. The pictures doesn't capture the beauty of this stay. We stayed for two days and honestly my stay at the boxcar was the best part of the trip. If you are second guessing go for it! Friendly dogs and beautiful horses as well. Becky also gave suggestions on things to do, she keeps the place clean comfy. she’s really a super host! «5 stars! We were in town for a hockey game and didnt want to be squished in a hotel room. This was perfect! We have a family of 7 and it was comfy! Kids enjoyed playing pool, darts, and ping pong. We especially liked the fact all 7 of us could fit on the comfy sectional to watch our Green Bay Packers play. Hot-tub was a nice added bonus! We cant wait to come back next year when our son plays in the area again! Thanks so much! »

"The hotel was really nice but the service was not good at all. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the property was really great. However, they didn’t tell us that we had to request daily cleaning if we wanted to and the restaurant service was not good. We had a breakfast and 2 dinners where for 1 we waited for more that an 1 h with an next to empty restaurant. When we asked how long did it take, they said they didn’t know and the food was mediocre. "
