«Great old hotel, with a fantstic location. The chateau may trusts its historical pedigree and past glory a little too much. The rooms (at least ours) might need a makeover. This goes for the ambience in general and the bathroom with it's in tub shower. It is absolutely shocking that you have to pay for WiFi separately in 2023. In my experience it is only a handful of hotels in the entire world that still requires such payments, and they are usually well below the Chateau Laurier ...

«Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and decked out to the nines for the holidays! Would have loved a bar fridge we could actually use for our 8 day stay (it’s limited to the expensive mini bar items and you can’t remove to put your own food/drinks in) and mugs that actually fit the full cup of Nespresso coffee from the maker (made a mess overflowing every brew), but overall a great stay in a comfortable and spacious room. «We truly could not have asked for a better weekend getaway to celebrate my spouse’s birthday. The interior was absolutely beautiful, and the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. There was more than enough room for our family of four to feel completely comfortable. The lounge was perfect for mid-day snacks, and we relaxed and played board games.
