«We stayed in the Badger View cottage while visiting family in Meopham. It’s a secluded and very comfortable cottage, and the owners couldn’t be nicer. Great place to stay if you’re looking for a well-appointed cottage with a relaxed feel and superb views. Three Shetland Ponies, three chickens, two dogs, and more squirrels and magpies than you can count! There are also badgers and foxes that come out in the evening, but we only saw one fox. Fantastic place to stay, and we hope to return sometime ...

«OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. «Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest.
