Some of the fixtures & fittings looked a bit old.The extractor fan in the room was particularly noisy. All areas were clean and bright. Basically a solid offering.

Please accept my apologies for the issue with your meal, It would have been appreciated if you could have brought this to our attention at the time of your stay so we could have fully investigated, even if it had been when you checked out with the Receptionist as this would have still been passed on for us to look into. The staff, especially Kay at the front desk, were helpful and friendly. Dinner was very good. However, I felt the location was falsely advertised. It said it was located 2 1/2 miles from the International Cruise Terminal. This was not true. It was across the Thames from that location. It took us 45 minutes to get there at the cost of 55.00 GBP.

There is a Ferry Terminal located at Gravesend which is approx 2 miles away where you can get a local ferry to transport you to the International Terminal, unfortunately taking a Taxi can be costly and timings dependant on the Traffic. Hopefully we will see you again in the furture.

This time I done a solo trip as my husband is away and I will definitely do it again. I booked a queen size room and was pleasantly surprised to find I had a nice comfy 4 poster bed complete with fairy lights. The room itself was bigger than I expected and very clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful and I didn’t feel awkward at all being on my own. Will definitely be back.

Great location for visiting Rochester
Great location for Rochester (15 mins) and the surrounding area. Just off the A2 very handy location . Large clean room on ground floor was quiet but a bit of a walk from reception . Will stay again next time we are visiting relatives.

Excellent Staff
Very good staff Helpful and friendly room was clean spacious. My only complaint would be there is no air conditioning and it is very warm at the moment the addition of a fan would be good.

Good Morning, I am very sorry that your stay with us did not meet all your expectations. Some of our rooms are road facing and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the traffic. Had you come to reception we would have been able to move you to a different room, more internally. I am sorry that you was not satisfied with the food, for that I can only apologise now as we were not aware of your disappointment during your stay. We do have heating in the dining area and again I can only apologise if the room was not up to temperature. Regards Kay Holness

The positives - staff was friendly, hotel was clean The neutrals - very dated but true to photos so was what I'd expected when I booked it The negatives- when I checked in I was told that because of covid no one would be entering my room unless I specifically asked for something. This has been standard for other places I've stayed during the pandemic, so I had no problem with it, but on the third night of my stay my bin had been emptied making it obvious someone had been in the room. This was perhaps a misunderstanding on my part but either way unnerved me. I was also given a code to enter after a specific time in the evening, but it was changed without notifying me. When I attempted to ring the doorbell to have someone manually let me in there were 3 separate bells with no clear labeling and it took several minutes with multiple calls to get someone to let me in. When I did eventually get in my key no longer worked in my door. I was told this was because I'd kept my key in the same handbag where I kept my mobile phone. This has never been a problem for me at other hotels, but could perhaps be the result of dated technology? After that evening I checked out a day early and stayed at a hotel closer to the airport for my last night

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your recent review and your positive comments. I think there was some misunderstanding regarding the room servicing. The rooms will be serviced at our guests request, however for hygiene reasons the housekeeping team will empty the bins daily. The code to enter the hotel is changed randomly for security reasons and therefore we are not always able to let all our guests know beforehand. If you had bought this to our attention during your stay we would have been able to explain to you personally.

Excellent. Room was very clean. Staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. For such few staff the service was second to none. The food was also superb. For a 3 star hotel it was more like stopping at a 4 star. Full continental breakfast available but no full English at the moment BUT the staff would prepare sausage/bacon breakfast rolls on request so no real issue. Was there for Brand Hatch Superbike racing and will definitely stop again next year. Thoroughly recommend and again emphasis how exceptional all of the staff were

I paid for a standard room with a queen bed but ended up with a double. Bed was very soft and the pillows were very hard. Left after rhe final night with back, neck and headache.

Good Morning, I'm sorry that you experienced problems with the bed and pillows. Our standard queen beds are doubles which are bigger than the average Queen bed. I'm sorry that the issue was not bought to our attention during your stay as we would have been able to rectify the issue.

From entering reception thro to leaving it felt both safe (Covid wise) and secure. Pleasantly surprised that hot and cold food was available and again either within the bar area (all tables only seating 1 person) or could be taken in the room. Happily stay again, well done to all of the staff, great job.

Great service, well taken care of.
We were well taken care of. Simple food, but can't ask for more right now. Able to order drinks and a place to sit if you don't want to eat in your room.
