«We enjoyed our stay at the townhome. From the pictures we didn’t know the loft bed was almost right outside the door from the bedroom. We didn’t end up using it because of the proximity. As two couples we had one use the basement and the other the bedroom. Three of us thought the mattresses were a bit too firm. The other person found it comfortable like they were getting a little hug. We all loved the view of the lake.»

«We enjoyed staying at this place. Even though it's a short drive to Lutsen ski, the view from condo, well equipped kitchen are huge plus! Kids love to play tennis and pool in the clean cozy common area. It's definitely the great addition in case of bad weather. Planning to come back to spend snow days in Lake Superior area.»

«Stay was generally good. The downstairs bedroom was chilly, we appreciated the heater that was provided. It was a bit of a bummer thar the fireplace was broke. The cupboard door that the garbage can was in was also broke and doesn't close all the way.»

It has lots of room and everything you could need. Cheri promptly answered every question I had and provided great recommendations. «Was a good stay. My boys were able to ski right from the lodge. I work in the vacation rental industry, and see a lot of units. Photos are exactly how the unit looked and felt. Our boys had the basement to themselves, and all were comfortable.»

«We had a great stay on the North Shore. Close to Grand Marais, as well as the Canadian Border, so choose your own adventure. Our boys fished off the lighthouse point in GM, and we did a hike up at Grand Portage on the border. Spent tons of time on the lakefront, and watched the younger kids climb all over everything while collecting more rocks to bring home. The absolute highlight, from a Minneapolis family, was the stargazing! No Northern Lights, but wow! What an amazing view of our corner of ...

«I cannot be more happy with our stay. We rented Cedar Cliff as a smaller alternative for our wedding. The space was large and accommodated all our guests and wedding dinner. The large table in the Grand Room was PERFECT! The location on the cliffs was amazing for our ceremony and photos. Perfect Day. If we have a question, the hosts were super responsive to all our needs. Will be back for sure!»

«Perfect getaway to the North Shore! The place aas charming. It had everyhing we needed for our family vacation. Highlights were the wood burning fireplace, the view of the gondola, skiing back for lunch, and the kids loved the bunk beds. We hope to return!»

«Our group of 4 have been going up to the North Shore for over 25 years. Staying at Loon Lodge was a great place to stay. We literally only needed to bring clothes and food for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed--spices, etc. The view was outstanding as Lake Superior was outside of the kitchen/living room as well as the master bedroom. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend Loon Lodge.»
