«Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. «The cabin was really cute and set against beautiful wooded trees (but you're still really close to other cabins/houses). The lake is truly just a 2 min walk away and is beautiful. The bed was comfortable but this is a small studio cabin. The kitchen, living area, and bedroom are all one room. The bathroom is in an indoor/outdoor space. «First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. «We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We took the house for our daughters graduation and we wanted a place to host a cookout for her friends. Badmitten and kayaking. Worked out great. Only nit is that you are encouraged not to drink the water out of the tap so bringing bottled water is a part of the deal.»
