«This motel was a pleasant surprise! Have only seen this kind in movies (the kind with a separate door in to each room from the outside). We made the choice between room with a queen bed and twin room when booking — got the both: A room with one queen bed and one large single bed! Real duvets, tea/coffee maker and complimentary biscuits. Nice ensuite and parking spot outside the door. Nicely welcomed. And even though we didn't get time to try it, there is a pool outside.»

«We enjoyed a 2 night escape from the city and were delighted with this gracious, fascinating hotel. The history of the Hydro and the beautifully updated interiors were an unexpected bonus, also, the charming bar with spectacular views. The delicious breakfasts, again with stunning views left us disappointed we had other plans for dinner. The staff were all friendly and professional and our room was well furnished and immaculate. We look forward to another stay.»
