Feriehus med fantastisk utsikt til Alhambra

Casa-Mirador La Alhacena, Albaicín, Granada

Selvbetjent ferie hus i hjertet av det historiske Albayzín kvartalet Granada med fantastisk utsikt til Alhambra og Generalife-hagene.
Dette nydelige og koselige byhuset har blitt komfortabelt innredet for å gi ideell innkvartering for både par og familier. Det ligger i en gågate i det historiske sentrum på ca 3 minutters gangavstand fra Plaza Nueva. Det har en fantastisk og direkte utsikt til Alhambra, Generalife-hagene og Sacromonte.

I første etasje finner du et soverom med en stor dobbeltseng (150 cm x 190 cm), kjøkken og bad. Hele første etasje er en koselig åpen stue med dobbel sovesofa (135cm x 180cm) for 2 personer, spisestue og fin utsikt til det mauriske Alhambra festning-palasset. Fra takterrassen vil du nyte spektakulær, åpen utsikt ikke bare til Alhambra, men også til Generalife-hagene og hele Sacromonte-dalen.

Huset er fullt møblert og utstyrt med alle borgmesterprodukter. På kjøkkenet finner du en gass komfyr, kjøleskap, vaskemaskin / tørketrommel, mikrobølgeovn, mikser, vannkoker, kaffetrakter, etc. En hårføner, strykejern og strykebrett er også tilgjengelig. Badet er utstyrt med dusj over badekar, toalett og vask.

Huset er fullt utstyrt med aircondition. Oppvarmingen fungerer via varmepumpe. En barneseng er tilgjengelig på forespørsel. Det er også farge-tv, digital satellitt med internasjonale kanaler, lydutstyr med CD-spiller, telefon og trådløs internettilgang.

To say that this apartment has great views of the Alhambra is an understatement. At least 3 windows from various locations in the apartment have fabulous views, plus the veranda on the top floor. Incredible! TV was great, logged into our Netflix and watched a few episodes, but did not watch TV that much (just this once). Internet was outstanding. Water from the tap was delicious and cold, water in the shower hot. Plenty of everything one would need, including laundry detergent. Did 2 loads, then hung outside on veranda (rope needs to be replaced). Location was fabulous, if you are in good shape, and price unbelievably low. Bed was listed as a king bed, but (by American standards) was a queen - that said, it was very comfortable, slept well. Location was great, but really tricky to get to. We came in very late, so really had a challenge finding it.... addresses are not like at home. So late that Nadia, who we met when checking out, could not meet us to help us.... oh well, it was an adventure. Be sure you stop by 4 Gatos just around the corner for breakfast!

House on the hill

We enjoyed our stay in Granada! Be prepared for some uphill climbs when you venture out! The house was relaxing, loved the towel warmer in the bathroom, nice shower and washer/dryer in the kitchen!

Perfect location for a Granada stay

A wonderful short stay in sunny Granada. We wandered the narrow cobbled streets of the Albaicin and marvelled at the majestic Alhambra which could be seen beautifully from the terrace (accessed via a tiny staircase but well worth the effort) and living room of the apartment. Such a well located accommodation for seeing the best of Granada. All the necessary facilities were provided for the perfect stay.

Fantastic Charming Apartment to Visit Granada

This apartment is a compact, multi-level rental that was perfect for my wife and I to use as a home to explore Granada. The historic interior is truly charming, with an excellent modern bathroom, and a comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Up a half flight of stairs, there's a compact but fully functional kitchen where you'll find a good washer/dryer combo unit. Up another flight is a wonderful living area with a couch and dining table. Both the bedroom and the living room have good A/C. Then finally, there's the rooftop with a table and chairs. The view of the Alhambra is spectacular and equal to or better than some of the pricey restaurants in the neighborhood. We loved it, but there are a few things to consider for potential renters; - You have to be comfortable hauling your suitcases up a couple of stairways and down a short block to get to the apartment entrance because cars can't drive on the narrow street. - If you or members of your party are big people (e.g. over 6 feet tall and/or over 200lbs), the place might seem tight to you. For example, the shower stall is quite small (although the water pressure was fantastic). - Don't expect to find a supermarket nearby. You can buy essentials at smaller markets, but we didn't try cooking at the property. The kitchen had a lot of the basics like oil, spices etc, so it would be well suited for making a few meals. - There's an outlook across the street that can be noisy past midnight, but the activity subsides quickly.

3 Tage mit Familie

Da Sanierungsarbeiten in der von uns gebuchten Wohnung nicht fertig wurden, hat man uns freundlicherweise einen Ersatz angeboten, den wir gern angenommen haben. Perfect bolt-hole in the Albaicín

We had a delightful three-day stay in this perfectly situated mini apartment, which accurately matched the website description. In particular, we loved the wonderful views up to the Alhambra and Generalife, and the ease of access to the delights of the Albaicín, as well as the historic centre of Granada. Unbelievable Views

If you come to Granada to see the Alhambra, I can’t imagine a better place to stay. You can see the palace in all its glory from the kitchen, the living room and the rooftop terrace. Spectacular! The house is amazing, snug, well laid out and in a great location. Though small, the kitchen has everything you need to cook; lots of serving dishes are off the living/dining room. Get it: this place is charming. We loved our stay. Nadia is sweet, energetic and a dependable communicator; she made our arrival easy. A few caveats, none of which would cause us to hesitate to stay there again: The walk from Plaza Nueva to the house is quite steep; the staircase from kitchen to the living room has low clearance, so watch your head; there is a Mirador right outside the entrance that can be noisy (late) some nights; the underside of the staircase cuts low above the bathtub, requiring one to be creative with showering (baths are not a problem). If we could stay there again tomorrow, we would. Enjoy!

Stellar rooftop view and historic charm

We met up with Nadia, who guided us from a main street to the quaint neighborhood of narrow streets. She was perfectly timely and instructive about the home, which was clean and homey, with historic charm and an exceptional rooftop view of the Alhambra. There was modest talking noise and a guitarist/singer on the small public terrace behind the apartment, but it wasn’t a noise issue and quieted down after midnight or 1 a.m. (expected for Spanish timetable). The rooms are split on different levels, which worked well for a little more privacy with four adults staying in the home. This was the most inviting home we stayed in during our Spain travels, and we’d recommend it for anyone willing to walk and feel like getting a more local experience. One warning: there was some low ceiling clearance and a unique shape of the shower, which are difficult for people taller than 5’10”. Otherwise, a perfect place.

Amazing view of the Alhambra!

This was a great location in the Albaicin, within walking distance of everything. The apartment was well-equipped and very charming. Due to the many steps, it is not handicapped friendly. The view of the Alhambra from the rooftop terrace is stunning.

San Pedro is wonderful

We had a terrific time in Granada. The apartment was close to the old city (10 min walk) and to the Alcázares. Despite cool, wet weather, the apartment felt warm and cozy. The view of the Alhambra was spectacular. Argue and Nadia were helpful, especially with Parking options as we drove from Seville. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful vacation home - I didn't want to leave!

I can't speak highly enough of this apartment in Granada. My partner and I stayed for four days in March and I wish we had stayed longer. I selected this apartment specifically for the roof top patio and it did not disappoint. It was cozy and comfortable and the views of the Alhambra and city from the roof top were breathtaking. We enjoyed quite a bit of time up there relaxing, reading, sharing wine, and just taking it all in. The location was perfect for exploring Granada on foot. The apartment was stocked with basics in the kitchen, and we imagined going to the market and cooking, but the dining was so plentiful and enjoyable that we never did. We did make coffee every day and the coffee that Nadia stocks for the home is delicious! We were nervous about meeting someone to take us to the apartment at first because we don't speak Spanish, but everything went perfectly. We called Nadia when reached the meeting location and she arrived within minutes. Nadia went out of her way to help us find a taxi for a very early morning departure. She arranged the taxi driver who came right to our door on foot to take us to his car one street over since the street the apartment is on is not big enough for vehicles. She was absolutely delightful, offered suggestions for the neighborhood, and we felt at ease knowing we had someone so friendly and generous nearby to help us out if we needed it. From the apartment, we enjoyed exploring the winding narrow streets of Albaicin neighborhood, the cathedral, the Alhambra, plentiful wine and tapas. If we return, we will try to rent here again. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful but a bit noisy.

We spent 5 nights. Great apartment and would stay again. The only downfall is the bedroom. It is on the ground floor and the locals use a nearby plaza to drink beer. It did not bother us, but may others. It is a typical Albaicín apartment. It has steps, smaller rooms but stunning views. However, the patio makes up for everything. The views are amazing. It would be nice if there were some check in instructions in English. The keeper of the key did not speak any English. Overall we loved it and would book again.

A perfectly placed period property to explore the delights of Granada.

Nadia was extremely helpful and friendly despite us arriving late in the evening. We had a fabulous time exploring Granada and the property is an excellent base enabling all the main sites to be reached on foot. There is some noise from the adjacent square at night that maybe a problem for some, but we soon adjusted to the local vibe of late to bed and late to rise. Overall the property is excellent and I would highly recommend it with it’s charm and stunning views of the Alhambra.

Amazing view !!

This flat is in the old town and offers a living room and rooftop deck panoramic view of Alhambra. I would give it 5 star as it was a great location, but there are a lot of short ceilings and hard angles that you can hit your head on. And boy did I hit my head. The shower especially is a tight angled space. Also there is a plaza behind the place that has a lot of teenagers hanging out drinking ... it’s quite loud. We’ve come to expect loud in popular cities like Granada so it’s just business as usual, but people that like quiet wouldn’t care for that aspect. But that all won’t stop me from coming back!!!

Cozy with character of the area and amazing view of The Alhambra

Nadia met us to let us into Artur's apartment and was very welcoming and helpful. It is a very charming old place, with the necessary modern amenities. Located on a pedestrian street, it is 3 levels with lovely views of The Alhambra and and outdoor view terrace on the roof. We read in previous reviews about the small tub shower- it is small but we managed. I would really give a 4 and 1/2 rating because of this. We (my husband & I , seniors) stayed 3 nights and enjoyed coming back to our cozy apartment at the end of each day. Thank you Nadia & Artur
