«I booked this “hotel” thinking it was part of a known hotel chain. It turns out to be a random guest house hiding behind a misleading, almost-identical name. The minute you book, you get a text from a random number demanding a photo of your driver’s license. No explanation, no professionalism, just a sketchy text message asking for personal info.

«Amenities were great. Cottage was very small - couldn’t move around very much with three people. Check-in with owner was dreadfully long and unnecessary. Took half an hour to “check-in” and be shown how everything worked. High point of choosing this location was the use of the pool and hot tub. Took an hour and a half for the owner to further “clean” the debris from the pool (wearing only his shorts!) and by the time he was done we gave up on the hot tub and my daughter and I only had a few ...
