«A vintage cottage in a wooded setting with little trails close by along a stream. Cottage very clean and well-equipped, old vintage cottage furniture and tchotchkes. Lovely quiet place to return to after a long day of exploration and visits. We recommended a few fixes but nothing that would keep us from visiting again.»

«This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem ...

«The place was peaceful and calm. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall the place was clean, but the light above the shower had vents that are dirty. We also weren’t aware there were bunk beds. Regardless, it all worked out and we had a lovely stay. The area is gorgeous and there’s a walking path to a beach front area along the river. The instructions for that finding that could have been clearer. We heard from a neighbor across the way. Lastly, there was a ...

«The two bedroom cottage I stayed in at Cottage Place during a relocation was really nice. It was very quiet, comfortable, and had everything you could want for a relaxing and memorable stay. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location right next to Squam Lake was terrific. I look forward to staying there again in the Fall.»
