«One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. Absolutely lovely, just like the pictures! I will say of all the places we have been in Italy, this was the most authentic and real Italian stay. "When we were assigned a room, we discovered a leak from the toilet. We reported it to the staff and were quickly assigned a new room. We later discovered that the rooms had not been properly cleaned and there were spider webs and spider eggs under the beds, under the cabinets and bedside tables. We reported it again and were again met with very good service. The staff cleaned the rooms again and we were also compensated with a bottle of good wine for the meal. Too bad they don't clean the rooms properly. It would have made the experience so much better for us. We also discovered that there was fungus in the shower in the rooms. The staff was service-minded and pleasant. The area was peaceful with a beautiful view. The buildings and facilities in general, such as the pool, were ok, but appeared to be quite worn. Good food and very good wine."
