«The house was clean, nicely decorated and well situated for visiting in Eluthera since it is located approximately mid island. It was well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was just my sister and our husbands visiting for the first time so we spent a lot of time exploring Eluthera, Spanish Wells, and Harbor Island. I did report a leak under the master bedroom window after a driving rain and again after a very rainy day. I felt it very important to report this since I own a second home,too, ...

«A lovely stay, but make sure you have time on departure day to take all your garbage to the dump. Also if you plan to do laundry, bring your own detergent. There were no complimentary beverages in the fridge so make sure you stop and get stuff before getting settled because you are nowhere near a store. Very basic offering, no complimentary shampoo or conditioner either.»

«The cottage was perfect, everything I needed and a great location. A 5 min drive to Twin Coves Beach which was my favorite beach. I snorkeled there everyday. Governor's Harbour is a great central location on the island. Theresa was lovely host and I enjoyed our conversations. Can't wait to go back!»

«Beautiful pink beach steps away from the cottage. Great snorkeling with colorful, tropical fish and beautiful rocks. We saw a stingray, turtles, and possibly a couple of sharks. There were two cute mama birds nesting on the beach. We got to see the eggs and then the last day the babies after they had hatched. We enjoyed using the kayak and snorkeling gear. «Stayed here to be close to my parents’ rental just one house over (Sweet Merlot). Plenty of space for me and would be perfect for a couple. Nice porch views. AC worked well. Showers hot water heated quickly. Large book selection. Driveway entry is a little steep/ rough but not out of the ordinary for Eleuthera. Would book again.»

«We missed the groundswell by 2 days but were blown away by the beauty and Caribbean coziness of Shorebreak Cottage. The sound of the ocean was relaxing as was the sound of the morning cicada songs and the passing ocean terns. The ocean breeze was healing. And the view… incredible. «The house was beautiful to match the view. It was super clean and well-kept. It was nice to have items like beach towels and a cloth cooler to be able to use. It was easy to find and a perfect distance from Governor's Harbor. We were greeted by the owner, and she later graciously resolved an internet issue. She followed up later to make sure it was still working. In our opinion, this home is located on the prettiest beach of the island. We will certainly be coming back!»

«We last visited Eleuthera 40 years ago for our honeymoon. Yes, there have been some changes, however it remains a destination for unspoiled beaches. The Simple Life Cottage was the perfect place to experience this. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing a million stars at night. Magical watching fireflies in the nature landscape. «Overall, we enjoyed our stay: Comfortable cottage for two, with all necessary and many extra supplies for an enjoyable and restive vacation at a beautiful beach. Caretaker and owners were very thoughtful and helpful in providing great info and support. Our one concern was the “closed-in” location of the cottage in the “jungle”.
