«We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going ...

«While at our stay our electricity went out and we contacted Jamie who immediately responded telling us that it was a neighborhood problem and gave us a time frame to expect the outage to last, hoping we would get the electricity restored sooner than later. «We stayed here with our two kids (age 2 and 3) and would stay again! The apartment was incredibly clean with plenty of space and everything we needed. We sleep with white noise machines and had no issues with noise at all. Check in and parking was easy and the hosts were very responsive. »
