«Fanore is a bit isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. We were able to relax and still explore the surrounding towns and nature attractions. Would highly recommend for a way to decompress. The house was comfortable and was more than enough space for a family of 4. As with any house there were a few quirks (hot water runs out after 15-20 minutes s you have to plan showers)- nothing that isn't easily managed. Highly recommend for a rural getaway in Western Ireland.»

«The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has everything you might need. The sitting room is amazing, surrounded by windows so you are looking at the Burren from the sofa. A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. «Other reviews are perfect examples of this place. Was so nice, so clean and comfortable for our young kids and grandparents. Layout of the house is great. And they have the best toys for children. «Eden Retreat is a lovely home on a beautiful piece of property. We had sheep for neighbors in the field next door. We were a family of 8 adults and one toddler and were very comfortable in the house which is located near the town. Mark provided lots of suggestions for restaurants and shops and is an excellent communicator. House was clean and plenty of towels were provided. All in all you can’t go wrong with Eden Retreat. »
