«3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. Bathroom downstairs. All amenities are easy to use. Very relaxing for us in our 70s. Communication from Cottages.com is excellent.Highly recommended.»

«Very easy to find. Lovely host Sarah. 2 friendly dogs, Frank n Nim. So relaxing, a small cosy Conversion which is Very clean. Pub/restaurant a short walk via the village. Other restaurants a short drive. »

«Lovely, cosy, cottage.Easy to find and very private. Easy access to York, Pocklington and Beverley by bus. Langland garden centre close by. Mr Chu’s across the road is a great place for drinks, a meal or a takeaway. Hot tub was great. Will be back again as there is so much to see and do.»

«Absolutely beautiful little cottage! Perfect for what we wanted and fully enclosed garden for our little dog! Nice and roomy for the two of us who fancied a few days seeing the sights of York. «Absolutely beautiful. Oweners were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend x»

Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. Pelmets above windows and blinds hanging slightly below them block light so what little light the windows provide is further obscured by the window dressings. Was told there were only 2 floors so expected to ...

«Such a well equipped an clean cottage. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome which is important to us. Fabulous location which enabled us to explore lots of lovely walks.»

«David was an excellent host, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation close to local amenities and a lovely canal to walk down with pooch right outside the door. Although there is no designated parking, street parking is a 10 second walk away, so this wasn't an issue. There was even a guitar on the wall to have a relaxing noodle. Thanks again David»

«Though they mentioned but it be nice to have shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion in the bathroom.»
