«Excellent value. Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor.
Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century).

«The fact that it was as clean as possible, the staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and it was within walking distance of the near-by public beach accesses. Parking was a slight issue, but understandable and it would be better if the room did not have carpet. Overall a great stay and would/will recommend to others.»

«Most things about our stay were lovely! The property is beautiful and the rooms were clean. There were only two issues - one was how hard the bed was. I know that everyone has their preferences but this bed was practically rock hard to me. On the other end of the spectrum, my husband liked the firmness. You know what you prefer, so take this information and use it how you will.
The second was a slightly rude encounter with the security guard. My husband was trying to get the TV to come on and ...
