This section of the island is in strife with Electricity and Gas being switched off and the locals of the Cove living off generators or just leaving the island. It’s a sad situation for them. Most of the features listed in the booking ad were not in use. - No Cafe - No Watersports - No Fitness Centre - No Park - No Bowls - Only 1 place to eat with very limited choice - worse of all, the pool was not in use. We were told that the pool was out of order ...

«Car parking very difficult, bay 15 next to 4!!!! bathroom very dated, wood cupboards etc falling to bits, felt unclean, bedroom ok! lack of privacy due to frosted glass window in bathroom out onto passage and other apartments doors!! other people directly outside, cockroaches in kitchen, at most a 2 star if desparate.»

«We enjoyed our overnight stay at Christmas Creek Cafe & Cabins. The cabins were basic but clean, there was a small heater, enough to take the edge off the chill in the room and plenty of warm blankets provided. We made a small fire down by the creek and the kids loved playing in and around the creek. Was lovely to get away and disconnect from the everyday routine! »
