This is a malicious review which is entirely untrue. Marinka and her family were provided with towels and beach towels and the wifi functionef properly throughout. They damaged the property, including smearing sun cream on the patio furniture which they insisted, untruthfully, was 'cat urine'. They took offence when we called them out. I have reported them to the booking agency which has blacklisted them from the site.

Il n'y avait personne pour la rencontrer à cause des restrictions de Covid et une alternative simple était en place. Quand elle et sa famille sont arrivées, je l'ai appelée sur son portable, lui ai envoyé un texto et un courriel pour lui rappeler les instructions d'entrée, mais elle n'a pas répondu. Il semble qu'elle n'ait pas non plus lu la description des installations énumérées sur la liste HomeAway qui indique clairement qu'il existe des appareils portables à air froid pour chacune des pièces. Si elle avait lu l'un des documents mis à sa disposition, je suis certain qu'elle et sa famille auraient passé un moment aussi agréable que tous nos autres clients satisfaits.

We have rented our home for seven years and our experience of guests has been largely positive. Our feelings have been broadly reciprocated as can be seen from the comments which are, almost without exception, complimentary. This is our first experience of scammers. Heidi and her friends stayed at our villa for the full period of their booking. They phoned hours after arriving and threatened to post a negative review if we didn't give them a full refund. It was a Friday night and me and my wife were out for dinner. Heidi was rude and threatening to my 16 year old son and left him quite traumatised. I tried to call Heidi when we returned home but there was no response. We failed to reach her in subsequent days, despite repeated attempts and it was then that we realised we were being stitched up. We have since blacklisted Heidi (if that is her real name) and we have asked Home Away to do the same.

I should point out that it was Jose's mother who rented the property and our dealings were entirely with her. In fact she telephoned us five times before their family of nine had taken occupancy, which alerted us that there might, perhaps, be some issues ahead. Given the number of people staying, I think it's fair to say their expectations of a relaxing holiday were unrealistically high and perhaps their proximity led to a loss of perspective. I take issue with the accuracy of Jose's comments, not least with certain matters of fact. There is a brand new barbeque located in the garden. The television has an Amazon Fire box which works through the wifi. We use this rather than a TV aerial as it provides guests from all countries with their own local TV channels. That was explained to Jose's mother in a comprehensive list of instructions which all guests receive in advance of their arrival. The standard of maintenance at the property has not been an issue for previous guests, most of whom have commented on how impressed they are at its cleanliness and at how well equipped it is. In fact the entire house has recently been repainted, inside and out, which is why there were a few stray spots of paint on the main bathroom floor which have now been removed. Because of the property's rural location, cobwebs do sometimes appear and we ask guests to remove any that may emerge during their stay. Our own possessions consist entirely of two vacuum-packed bags of clothing that are on a single shelf, in one cupboard that is so high, it requires ladders to access it. The only other equipment that is stored in wardrobes is a travel cot, a high chair and a baby bath which we provide for guests with tiny children. The pool is maintained to a high standard by a technician who visits weekly to take a PH reading and to replace the chlorine tablets. This is perfectly standard and we are routinely complimented on the excellent condition of the pool and the area around it that is equipped with loungers and a large parasol. It's also disappointing that Jose chose to focus on the leaves that had fallen from the trees rather than the fact that they were bulging with fresh lemons, oranges and plums which we invite quests to pick at their leisure. I'm truly sorry Jose appears not to have enjoyed his holiday but I take issue with his unfair and inaccurate criticisms.
