«the hotel was beautiful, lovely room and amazing bathroom. parking was difficult, the hotel us on a main road so nowhere to unload. nearest parking is above a shopping mall opposite that seems to have a million exits, i was directed to the wrong one but some not very helpful locals. i had 3 heavy bags so it took the shine off the stay somewhat. also the hotel has no staff on site so everything is keyless. weird but functional but they are available on text message and phone. there’s no food ...

« Eye convenient. One member of staff was just lovely she couldn’t have done more to help so friendly. Another was really unfriendly and very moody. I felt as though I was a pain for being there. Breakfast was ok, poached eggs hard and tasted of vinegar. »

«500 år gammelt hus omgjort til B&B, blanding av gammel engelsk og mye japansk kunst. Veldig god service, stille og rolig i sentrum. God plass til parkering på baksiden. Mange snodige rom og små trapper, ikke låser på rommene (men mulighet for å låse inn ting nede).»

«property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel »

«When I arrived it said there was a reception at the rear. There was nothing but a locked door. I was lucky that there was a fellow guest who could let me in and ring the manager. When I got in the room it was unmade from the previous guest, the sheets where dirty, there were bedsheets in the washbasin, dirty towels on the bed, the two towels that were folded up and put in the wardrobe were stained. The duvet smelled of urine. All in all very dirty and you'd be better going somewhere clean.»

«Simply perfect, as usual. No problems in any area. This is my go-to venue for what are usually short stay visits to the area & I have no intention of staying elsewhere unless by any chance no rooms are available - & so far his has never happened!»

«The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.»

«A warm welcome. And kindness throughout our stay. Food service and hosts were excellent. This lovely Guest House is run very well tidy and clean. We were made to feel at home. Host always available. We are hoping to return again.»

«Nice warm welcoming place to stay»

«Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience.»

«Had a few days visiting London. The place was very nice, it's best suited for two. Ola, our host, was very welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable. I can recommend staying there very much.»
