«We parked at silk street short stay and downloaded the ringo app, convenient to pay for extra parking eather than going back to the car. Check in was swift with jeycodecand clear instructions provided prior to arrival. Lovely room, we had room 5 so on 2nd floor, bedding lovely and comfortable loced the big bed and high quality bedding/pillows. Bathroom was gorgeous with soap and wash. «Poor check in as way too much waiting due to one person on desk and large queue. No information on times or amenities. Didn’t have breakfast as too expensive at £16. Would have done if it was slightly cheaper. Did have an evening meal which was great and service was superb. Room was clean with plenty of space and could have a hot shower without water goining everywhere. WiFi was unusable in room so had to hotspot off the phone (WiFi was okay in restaurant though). «We stayed two nights at Pickmere guest house, and it was very enjoyable. The house itself is beautiful and rustic, and the room we got was spacious and tastefully furnished. Beds absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was very good with locally sourced ingredients, plenty of coffee and a quiet atmosphere. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Pickmere is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so you need navigation as he roads are not too well marked. It´s close to Knudsford, and a trip there is highly ...
