«We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around.»

«Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. «Always a great stay because of the staff including Julie, Lawrence, Sean (the Boss man) and Liam (I hope I got the names right). But rooms are a little dusty and my mugs were both stained and needed replacing. Team makes this a place to come back to again and again.»

«Very nice Inn in a charming village south i Yorkshire. The village wellknown for the author of Jane Eyre. The whole village referring to her. A lot of antiqueshops and restaurants nearby. The old hall is a gem, I am afraid of giving it so much positive respons, because it only has 2 rooms and we sure wants to stay there again . The staff is very friendly and helpful, the pub downstair is very nice ,serving good ales and meals all day, a popular place for the locals.»

«Surrounding area is beautiful. The property is very nice, the rooms are clean and the bathroom was good. The breakfast was very good too. Only thing I would say is that the bar was not serving the night we stayed (a Sunday) and that would have been good to know when we booked. Other than that, very good.»

«I did worry a little bit as I check in at the bar in a pub, but it turned out to be for no good reason. The staff was very friendly, and the room is one of the nicest ones I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was excellent, and dinner too. The lamb shank in particular was delicious! I really enjoyed my stay here!»
