In the summer, the country women’s specialty market and the Musikantenbörse invite you to linger. The Musikantenbörse takes place every Tuesday evening in the town center. Here you can enjoy “live” music on several stages. Of course, there are plenty of options for food and drink as well

If you don’t feel like driving to St. Peter-Ording (about a 10-minute drive) for a swim, why not visit the swimming area in Vollerwiek (about a 5-minute drive)? It’s also easily accessible by bike. At the DLRG-patrolled swimming area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing day on vacation: parking, freshwater showers, sunbathing areas on the grassy embankment, a sandbox, and steps leading into the water. Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
