«This place might not have many stars in its rating, but it is AWESOME! We stayed in the royals wagon, which is the most expensive option, but we got plenty value for money! The atmosphere and location is like no other place, right on the beach and very charming. Our only regret is that we didn't book for more than one night. The only negative thing we can think of was that the food in the adjoining restaurant/bar was REALLY bad. Lovely to have a drink and watch the sunset, but don't order food ...

«Very difficult to find (there are no signs to the Backpack Shack, its actually inside a hotel with another name), but great staff, a cool room and good breakfast made the stay in Mossel Bay a good experience.»

«The stay was fine, there were no towels and no soap at the accommodation. I had to go buy own towels and soap to take a shower. The were no cell phone charging points and some beds were making squeaky sound, probably to old. There was not enough parking as well »

«The rooms are separated from the reception and the parking lot. Must walk 3 blocks. As you enter the building, you feel you are entering a jail and feel terribly insecure. We got locked inside the room and had to trow keys throught the window to someone who can enter and open the door. If there is no space in the parking lot, must leave the car in the street and the security officer says it is not safe at all»
