A pleasant and positively surprised stay!
Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim Garden Grove for six days during a business conference, and had a very pleasant stay. The price for the hotel was a lot cheaper than most hotels in the area, and I did therefore not have high expectations, but the hotel was a lot better than expected. The hotel is a 3-star, but it is a high quality 3-star hotel. The room was nice, clean and spacious, the staff was very pleasant and service-minded, and the breakfast buffet ($ 13.75) was good. Parking was $15 per day, but due to our extended stay, we got parking included for free. This was highly appreciated by us. They have a free WiFi solution and a paid solution. We only used the free solutions. It worked OK for surfing, but streaming movies would probably have been a problem. The hotel also has a small "shop" where you can buy snacks, water, coffee, beer, etc. There is also a small bar at the restaurant, and a nice pool. The fitness gym is very small but it has some cardio machines and some dumbells. They have both a laundry service and a self-laundry room which is good if you are staying there for several days. There are also several restaurants in the area and a Target for buying food and groceries. All in all, I was very pleased with the stay and can recommend the hotel to others. The value for money here is very good.
