«We had a perfect weekend for three friends from grade school to reconnect. The weather was perfect and the house was perfect. There were three bedrooms on three different floors, a deck to view nature, and a large kitchen table to eat, play games and laugh. The host was wonderful and sent suggestions ahead of time. Their home was well stocked and very comfortable. We had a picnic at Galena vineyards, shopped main street, ate at Galena brewery and did the Goat trek! We would love to come back ...

The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. Little touches that make it feel personal. The beds were comfortable.»

It’s super-clean, with character and an historical ambience. We found so much to do in the Galena area, including nearby towns and the Galena River Trail. «It was a good stay overall, however the kitchen counter has/had an ant issue. maybe it's a seasonal thing but...to many ants. The master bedroom had a strong odor. I like the idea of pet friendly, however the less carpet the better. The house itself is in a great location, the deck is really nice, and the hot tub works great. Thanks»

«My family and I stayed for a wedding at Ashton Hill Farm. It was a great place for our family to hang out. Had everything we needed, very nicely decorated and comfortable. We had our dog with us and the doggie touches were nice and appreciated. Great backyard although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to. Would definitely stay there again and hope that we do.»
