A beautiful, newly purchased in 2022, 3-bedroom home tucked in the woods, long walking distance to Downtown Friday Harbor! Short walk to the Beach! Enjoy the best of both worlds in this secluded, forest-surrounded home, while also being just outside of Downtown! (Turn Point Retreat).
This freshly bought house is ideal for your family adventure to San Juan Island! This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is spaciously surrounded by fresh evergreen trees with much filtered light throughout the house.
Offering a bathroom on both levels of the home, plus 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs (plus an office with a futon), this house is spacious enough for two families.

Enjoy preparing your meals in the spacious kitchen and unwinding with family around the dining table. Catch a peek-a-boo view of the sunrise off the front porch while sipping your morning coffee among the local wildlife and ample deck furniture.

Less than half a mile away is Turn Point Beach, a perfect spot for beach combing, tidepool exploring, and the occasional orca whale spotting.

Downtown Friday Harbor is only 2 miles away, making this home a convenient spot for those desiring the seclusion of a PNW forest and the close proximity to town!

The easy access to downtown Friday Harbor will be a breeze for dining, shopping, catching a tour or shuttle, or just swinging by the grocery store. Cyclists will find the Turn Point Road loop a scenic 4-mile (roundtrip) bike ride (bicycles not provided on-site).

Other nearby attractions include Jackson Beach, LaFarge Open Space, San Juan County Fairgrounds, the Saturday Farmer's Market at Brickworks, the Port of Friday Harbor Marina, and the delicious restaurants of Friday Harbor.

Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. Ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable. Firewood not provided.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

The owners visit occasionally next door but provide privacy to guests.

Please be advised, yard maintenance may occur during your stay.

Island Wedding Fun

Our three generation family loved this home! The playhouse outback was a hit with our grandchildren. The close proximity to Friday Harbor made trips to town easy and we walked to turn Point Country Park and spotted an eagle! A fabulous place to stay!

Beautiful Getaway

What a wonderful home! It was perfect for our family, and we enjoyed every minute we were there! We arrived after dark, and the home was well-lit and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and we were able to prepare several meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We loved sitting outside at the picnic table. If we return to Friday Harbor, we will book this property again.

Great Escape in the Woods

Comfortable for our group of seven adults. Beds and bedding were amazing. Back deck space was awesome and the hammock was a nice perk. Easy walk to the beach. Overall great location for island outings and access to Friday Harbor.

Lovely house close to Friday Harbor

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The location is quiet and serene (including several deer sightings) yet just a quick drive from the charming town of Friday Harbor. The amenities were great and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway!

We loved staying at this house in the woods. Short drive to town and short walk to a little beach. We enjoyed hanging out in the comfortable living room and making dinner here. Spacious 3 bedrooms worked perfectly for our family. We loved all the whimsical features and play house out back (even though our infant couldn’t quite enjoy it just yet!) thanks for the beautiful stay near Friday Harbor!

Absolutely Lovely

This property was everything we hoped it would be. Lovely setting, clean, spacious, comfortable and relaxing porch and patio. It did not disappoint. If you go, look for the hidden wooden hearts located around the property.

Great place, high fees

The house itself was wonderful — Fantastic location, the house is gorgeous and well stocked. The play house was a huge hit for my 2 year old, the back deck was wonderful for meals. We had a great time with our extended family, from 80 year olds to a toddler the house worked great. However, I swear the cleaning fees were not that high when I originally booked. Booking with a management company does not get you the same level of personal service you get from other VRBO-type experiences.

Perfect wooded retreat

Light and updated, cozy and best natural AC. All linens and pillows and blankies were comfy. Well stocked kitchen with dishes n spices. Bring your own shampoo/ all in one body wash. Hairdryer is on site - just check both bathrooms. Streaming movie in evening worked well. Back porch door locks if it closes, so use the rubber dragon head as a door stop :-). House does not have house number on it- it’s the one with the awesome porchswing, and first home in the driveway. Close to town, close to beautiful beaches and parks.

Friday Harbor wedding

We had a great time staying at this property. We were in town for a wedding and the location was great. The beach advertised was not really much of a sandy, lay down beach- and shrunk with the tide- BUT it was a gorgeous place to sit on the rocks and enjoy the view. The house is a short drive to downtown and the ferry. We rented mopeds at Susie’s moped rentals in downtown Friday harbor and did a scooter tour of the island to see the lavender farm, alpaca farm, San Juan vineyards, and a lot of gorgeous outlooks! The house was well stocked with linens and iron, the beds were really comfortable. There were no shower toiletries so you’ll need to have your own shampoo and body wash. The neighbors were a lot closer than I thought, but we never saw them. Overall it was a good stay!
