«I stayed in a log cabin at the back of the Inn's garden. It was both private and very comfortable. Including kitchen facilities and a smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video etc. There was also a nice little porch area with a view of the fields behind the property. The Inn itself is a beautiful old cottage with a large picturesque garden. My only complaint would be the unrequested wakeup calls. I booked with breakfast included, the staff thought they would helpfully bang on my window periodically ...

«We loved staying at this fantastic old pub the staff were great breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. The only 2 things I would change is the bed, it was rock hard and could’ve don’t with a soft top mattress topper to fix this problem, and there was no air conditioner and the room was very hot so a ceiling fan or even a pedestal fan could be in the rooms. Other than that everything else was great. »

«A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track.»

«The staff were pleasant, the room was nicely decorated and in the heat of the summer was the only hotel room on our trip with a heat exchanger to cool it down and we certainly appreciated that. It was in a nice setting and overall we were very satisfied.»

«Sjarmerende sted med flere hundre år gamle bygninger. Frokost ble servert i hovedbygget mens evt annen servering også kunne inntas i en flott hage med utsikt. Vi ble tildelt rom i bygget på andre siden av veien (uproblematisk selv om det ikke var noen som helst utsikt fra vårt rom på bakkenivå).»

«We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Rafters. It was close to everything, very clean and quiet. We all loved our 3 day visit! There was even complimentary eggs, bacon, tea, coffee and a beautiful loaf of bread for our first meal while there.»

No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. »
