The gas fireplace and candles made for cozy evenings whilst listening to frogs and crickets at the pond in their garden. «It was very hot in there. Only two of the windows opened and they did not have screens, had to hold window up with piece of wood. There was a foul smell at the entry that never went away. The floor was uneven so getting up at night to use the bathroom was disorienting. Also the towels had mildew smell.»

«Very well-stocked home in a beautiful setting. It was very private and lovely to see the whales out in the water. Bald eagles floated past the big bay windows and there is lovely hiking just minutes away. The beds and bedding are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook, and there are a few places close to go for supplies. There are 43 steps down to the front door through a series of 5 staircases. If you have any mobility issues, this would be a difficult stay. »
