«Enjoyable stay»

«Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.»

«Quiet room in the lodge, good tea facilities clean room if a little tired. Shower works well but could do with fixing and the shower door should be at the other end. Towel radiator doesn't seem to work, I hung my towel on the door and the cleaner put it back on the towel rail so it was still damp in the evening. Not enough lighting in the room. Food in the pub was good.»

«Lovely rooms & very helpful staff.»

«Just great - unique and cosy - the most comfortable bed ever»

«Very comfortable and easy stay, welcoming owners and outstanding breakfast.»

«Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super! Durfte sogar im Apartment übernachten! Hat mir sehr, sehr gut gefallen und ich hab super dort geschlafen, nach einer Wanderung "South down way"! Herzlichen Dank noch mal an die lieben Vermieter! Schöne saubere Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen! Was auch ganz positiv geklappt hat war der Gepäcktransport mit Luggage Transfer der super gemanaged wurde von den Beiden! «Lindsay was a really nice host, we could have what we wanted for breakfast, there was tea, coffee sugar and milk in the room. Our room was very spacious and bathroom was very large and well layed out, our room looked out on to the garden which was nice.»

«Lovely rural location, a couple of miles from a small village with nice restaurants and shops. Close to Bewl Water.»

«The single room above a quiet pub has the best price you will find in the area, and an interesting history. Nice meals are available downstairs, very convenient. The Sunday lunch (I had the roast chicken with all the trimmings) was especially delicious. The friendly owners shared lots of information about the local area. The entire building is very clean and well maintained and the room is cosy with nice touches without being overdone. There is a tea kettle with coffee and tea options. The few ...

«Philip and his wife Nikki have a wonderful Hotel and are lovely people! Our room was tidy, comfortable, quiet, and had small touches like complimentary tea and cookies that were so appreciated and enjoyed by us. I had the best sleeps I had on our entire 2-week stay while here, so much so that I missed breakfast unfortunately--(my fiancé made it though and said the food was delicious also). If we are ever in the area again, we will be back. Thank you for the fantastic experience!»

«It reminded us a bit of Faulty Towers. Very English, not so modern. But very clean and totally fine for the night.»
