«Bodde på La Rosa de America både i forkant og etterkant av sykkeltur med en gruppe. I gruppa hadde vi også første og siste natt var der, så det var en viktig grunn til å velge dette hotellet. Trivelige småhus i en fantastisk flott hage. Rolige omgivelser og kort avstand til flyplassen. Over tid ville nok maten ha blitt litt ensformig, men der var også mulige spisesteder i nærheten. Litt langt å gå til nærmeste tettsted, men der gikk buss hver halvtime. Trivelig betjening.»

«My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.»

«Our first visit to Costa Rica. We were impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the Costa Rican people. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and include a TV, air conditioning, a safe, bathroom amenities, bed linens, and a coffee machine. A shuttle service to and from the airport is available. The car, frankly, isn't very comfortable (especially if you have large luggage), but that's not the main issue. We had a decent breakfast: an omelet, fruit, juice, coffee, a slice of bacon, ...

«Just a quick stop before we flew home - only 3 miles from the airport via side roads was a dream! Cute little hotel- not fancy, but enough beds for all, a good little variety at breakfast and we'd definitely plan to start and/or end future trips from this friendly little place!»
