«Two couples in town for a wedding. We hiked the area trails and dined at Cut River Grille multiple times - don’t miss it. The house was perfect for us. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Loved having a dining table big enough for everyone to eat and play games. The garage was definitely set up for fun. The host was great and communicated well. We really enjoyed having a property that allowed our coonhound to visit as well - he had a blast relaxing on the deck.»

«We needed a place to relax after a day of snowmobiling in Gaylord and this home fit the bill perfectly. Spacious and charming it was like we were time-warped back to the 50's/60's. The original cabin, along with the addition, allowed the four of us plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and get the history of the property. «The house is very nice in a lovely location on the grounds of Shanty Creek, and it was the right size for our family group. The kitchen was well-appointed and well laid out, which was great, since we cooked all of our meals. We needed a snow shovel, though, and there wasn't one there, nor was there any salt or sand to put on the walkway or steps leading into the house. We'd definitely consider renting this home again.»
