Nice and simple hotel, bad location
Clean enough, friendly service, completely ok breakfast. But lots of drug dealers and junkies around the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the main train station. The rooms facing the street can be quite noisy due to traffic. I stay at the Manhattan Hotel quite frequently for work. It´s good value for money.

They really need to have a kettle to heat water, they sell one Bottled water for 4 Euros, rooms were cold for the weather and couldn’t locate the thermostat and apparently it was not there. Junkies and Crackers were right at the door of the hotel, the first expression really scared me, but for me overall passed safe…

Comfortable room, close to the Hauptbahnhof.
Great location - close to the Hauptbahnhof. Great room, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that this is supposedly a non smoking hotel, but my room smelled like cigarettes. I understand the hotel has little control when guests break the rules, but perhaps a deeper clean could have been done.

Solo estuvimos una noche de paso, elegimos lo mas cercano a la estación a un buen precio. Fue cómodo y el personal servicial aunque como en otras reseñas muestra, la zona no es muy linda, pero en ningún momento me sentí inseguro. Muy conectado con el tranvia y camión.

The room was spacious and clean (except for a spider nest on the ceiling in a corner of the shower). Your room key was an actual key with a bulky key chain. It was totally inconvenient and very difficult to use to open the door. You had to make sure to manually lock the door with the key once inside. There wasn’t a coffee maker in our room. While I like soap dispensers, at least provide wash clothes for body gel use in the shower. We were in a back room by an alley and there were noises - people and machines - until 4 am. The biggest upset was the price. The room was astronomically expensive. I would have expected better accommodations for that price. Breakfast was extra and decent. Certainly not the best breakfast I’ve had in Germany but not the worst.
