Little piece of paradise!

Overall this place was amazing. Comfortable beds, had all we needed. Amazing view. Easy walk to pools and beach. The only complaint were the floors seemed pretty sandy even when we had just gotten there but I’m certain it’s fairly impossible to clean the ultra fine sand up to perfection.

This was an amazing property, beautiful condo, outstanding view, super easy walk to the beach, great pools, and easy in and out to grocery store, shops, etc. Plenty of parking, felt completely safe everywhere and overall very enjoyable. Would definitely come back here again.

Great condo. Front desk was awesome!! Always checked with us as we passed going to the beach and asked how we were doing. We had an issue with drain in tub and they fixed it right away. Everyone from the maintenance guy to the beach chair guy were great!!!Great place to stay!!!

Family Friendly

Very pleasant, convenient, safe and family friendly accommodations! We loved the 2 pools and hot-tub, as well as the convenient access to the beach. Would highly recommend for families and would love to stay here again with our 4 children!

Nice condo

Condo was nice and roomy, nicely decorated loved having the balcony over the pool with beach view, within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, putt putt and ice cream shop. Master bedroom bed was comfortable however guest bedrooms mattresses were not comfortable and you could feel the springs on them they probably need to be replaced. Bunk beds comfortable per the kids. Only other issue was only had 2 small skillets, with our big group hard to cook breakfast for 8, a 12” skillet would have been nice. Our air filter was absolutely filthy but when reported they replaced in a timely manner. Would stay here again.

Filthy room… had to wash all linens and wipe everything down with lysol wipes before I could relax.

Check in was over an hour late after traveling all day, room was absolutely filthy! Smelled horrible. Had to go to grocery store and get laundry soap and lysol to clean it before we could sleep. Deserve my money back! Could not relax the entire due to unclean conditions. Other party we were with even left a day early!! STAY AWAY!! Rip off to pay that much and be ready to go hime the second we got there!!!

First impression was- The place was ok, the view was beautiful, but the pictures were better. Going through and getting our stuff taken out we noticed things hadn’t been cleaned. One nightstand had something on it that wasn’t cleaned. We found 2 socks, one in two different locations of the place….That was just the start. My husband woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and he found bugs you do not want to see. Gross! I called the property manager the next day and they said they would contact someone to come by. We killed a few and left them so they could see them. Waited…No call! I called again, they said they were checking into it. My kids were disgusted and so were we. Fast forward to Thursday and I called again. They said someone had been to our room to spray on Tuesday, but we were never notified anyone was coming in. Especially without is knowing. That was not cool!!! I would never rent from this place again. I’m never one to complain. It was a vacation with my family, but the communication was horrible and the cleanliness was just as bad. We went shopping and got cleaning supplies and that place was left cleaner than when we got there…I will say, we go to Fort Walton every year and this was the best stocked kitchen in a condo as far as pots and pans and kitchen utensils. I do wish they had provide a bit more as far as things to get you started. We had no liquid soap for dishes, only one roll of toilet paper and 2 trash bags. That’s about it! Overall, we were not happy with the place and price we paid.

Perfect beach weather

We were very fortunate after deciding to take the trip as planned despite the COVID-19 outbreak, we gathered as a family and totally enjoyed every minute of our stay. The weather was perfect each day, the facilities were clean and the guest were on the same boat as us, cautious of keeping distances, watching what we touched and enjoying the moments. Beach service staff were friendly, maintence staff was friendly, the building was clean and our specific unit was clean. We would rent here again.

Unit 107 is a great unit! It is clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. It’s so convenient to the pool, the beach, and the grills. The owners are great to work with. We we definitely be repeat customers!

Great family vacation

Our condo was clean, well-equipped and conveniently located to the pools and beach. The young men in charge of setting up the beach chairs and umbrellas daily were incredibly kind and friendly. We definitely enjoyed our time at Summer Place.

This is my 3rd visit to Summer Place. This condo was very well stocked upon arrival, clean and well appointed. The check in process was very easy, with a packet explaining everything in the lock box upon our arrival. Property manager was very responsive to questions. Wonderful stay

This was one of the nicer condos that we've stayed at in Summer Place. It was nice to have a hair dryer for each bathroom and the decorations were so pretty in all the rooms. I will definitely be staying here again!❤

Very happy with this condo!

Our family of 7 very much enjoyed this condo. Having travelled about 1000 miles to get there, we were thrilled to be able to access the condo first thing in the morning of our check-in day. The second floor provided a lovely view of the Gulf and also allowed us to communicate to each other from the balcony to the pool deck when necessary. The heated pool and hot tub were right outside the balcony, so when the little ones were resting, the older ones, and a parent, could enjoy swimming...we could all still visit! There were ample sleeping options. We were surprised by the double bed bunk (double on top and bottom). The master bed was super comfy. We appreciated the ample seating on the balcony! The only critical feedback would be that the curtains (roman shades, maybe) in the front two rooms were very old and should be replaced so that renters can open the shades without fear of breaking them. There was also dust in the window sills in those rooms (we wiped it off). We may never had seen that if it weren't for curious kids wanting some sunshine in their rooms. Also, the kitchen cookware options were limited. We attempted making breakfast foods (eggs, potatoes, pancakes) and had to use one small sorta-non-stick-frying pan. It was very time consuming and produced over-cooked pancakes, undercooked potatoes, and interesting eggs (we still ate them with smiles and made memories ;)). That said, if we ever returned to this condo, I'd pack a skillet or two and also something to bake a cake in. There was one 9" round pan, but not two and most cake recipes call for two. We tried using a cheese cake pan but it leaked. We ended up buying an 8" one at Publix and called it good (it was for a bday). I would highly recommend this condo! We stayed on the fifth floor seven years ago and really enjoy Summer Place. Especially in the off season, it's very quiet, the front desk is very helpful and friendly. We hope to return in the future, Lord-willing!
