It was the perfect vacation place. Exactly as it was listed. The beach was steps away with sand that looked like sugar. The lazy river, the heated pool and the hot tub was easily accessible. We are looking into rebooking again next year.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a great trip! Our kids kept saying ā€œthe ocean is in our backyardā€ and it felt like it. We chose Destin in hopes to be right on the ocean and we were- it was so nice to just pop up to the room if needed from the beach. We quickly realized how valuable it was to have beach service with two chairs each day, too! G606 itself was very nice. The beds were super comfortable and we had all that we needed in the room for the nights we cooked in. The general facilities were kept clean and well maintained. Beautiful views!! We would love to come back.

Awesome stay! Loved both the condo and the resort (huge pole, and hot tub immediately below, the hotel next-door has a big rock formation with a pool you have access to and if you go down to the 3rd floor, thereā€™s a walkway to a beautiful resort area with four more pools and a lazy river, also docks for fishing a bay for snorkeling! The condo is attractive, updated and clean. The unit is on the sixth floor (highest floor of the building). It has views over the walkway/railing out bedrooms two and three windows of the ocean and the sunrise. The patio is off the master bedroom and the living room area and has views of the ocean and the sunset. Upon walking into the unit directly to your left is a little alcove with built-in twin bunks and just enough room for a dresser with a TV. There is a curtain hanging down. To the right is a decent sized bedroom with a king sized bed and a bathroom that opens up both to that bedroom and the hallway for the twin beds. Up to the left is the master suite with a beautiful walk-in shower and tub. The living area has a table that seats 4 and a couch/chair. The patio has table with four chairs and two extra chairs.The kitchen and laundry facilities are gorgeous and new, but other than the two pods for the dishwasher, one of which you need to use upon leaving and the two pods for the washing machine, there are no other supplies, so be sure to think through details like salt and pepper when planning meals to be cooked in the kitchen.

Everything the listing said and more. The balcony is huge and is close enough to the ocean that you can hear it at night - VERY relaxing. Speaking of, the beds were incredible. We all slept so well for the 9 days we were there and we canā€™t wait to come back!

A great time was had by all!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was very clean and well-maintained, with a fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. The location was perfect ā€” just a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk, where we enjoyed shopping and trying out local restaurants. Our group included adults, teenagers, and a toddler, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The condo overlooks the pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub, with a beautiful view of the beach. On the bay side, we made great use of the lazy river and BBQ pits one afternoon, which was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Condo and fun for all

This was our first stay at Destin West and wow, what a nice experience with plenty of things to do. The room was very clean and well kept, communication with the owner was great. I will master bed was not comfortable at all. bathrooms were very nice, but the showers were very small and the toilets were snug against the wall. If I were a large person it would have been awful. The AC made a very irritating bubbling like sound the entire time. The entire place is pretty much smoke free which is a huge plus for us. The beach wasnā€™t huge, but that was actually great as it made for shorter walks carrying our beach stuff. Considering there are pools available at the bay side and the gulf side that you have access too, there was always room for pool time. The lazy river was amazing and probably the largest hot tubs Iā€™ve ever seen. The location was ok, but traffic coming from Destin was a nightmare, literally bumper to bumper all day and all evening long so we certainly didnā€™t go far, luckily there were restaurants really within walking distance. The chair service on the beach was a pain. Although 2 chairs and an umbrella are included with this condo, you have to go stand in line really early if you want a chair on the front row on the water. Even though we tried to pay extra ahead we were told there werenā€™t any more reserves Available. Literally I would go down every morning at 8:30 and stand in a line for 30 mins or more. Overall we had a great experience and would go back again.

We loved our stay! Conveniently located to many beaches and attractions. Two 15yr olds loved the multiple pools and lazy river. Had some seaweed in gulf few days but went over to the bay and down the road to other beaches. Condo was perfect and view amazing! How responded fast every time I had any questions.

Check in was very easy. The directions were clearly stated on the Vrbo app and easy to find. The room was clean, stocked, and easily accessible to parking and the beach.

Family vacay

We enjoyed Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. This was our fourth time there. Our family had a total of four units rented. We stayed in Gulfside 606 & it was fabulous!! Very clean & up to date property. It was just as shown online.

Ohio Family

Our family came for a week at the beach. The property was as close as you could get. The pools were very nice and spacious. The only disappointing aspect was the 3rd bedroom. It is really a very small storage area with bunks. Great for kids but a little small for adult kids.

Fall Break

Everything in the apartment is new and it was perfectly clean from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels appeared new. My kids had a great time going from one pool to the next including the lazy river and the beautiful pool which the property overlooks. Property manager was readily available to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this to any family with young children or teenagers. We had a great time here and would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Destin West. The condo was everything we needed, and the pools were super relaxing. We never had any trouble during our stay and the resprt staff were all super nice.

Beautiful unit with all the amenities

After a last minute cancellation at another unit, we booked this unit and couldnā€™t have been happier. Not only was the unit beautiful, but the entire space was perfect. From two king sized beds plus a bunk room to the large kitchen and balcony. The balcony is perfect for watching fireworks. The unit was meticulously clean and make us feel so comfortable.
